Week 3

Well, I'm well and truly into week 3 of classes now and still enjoying it :)  (I suppose this is a good sign?!)

Two of my favourite boys <3 :="" p="">

Two weekends ago we enjoyed a lovely group ride down to Kilcunda, about 31 bikes in total, what a rush listening to the rumble of all 31 Harley's together!  Lots of head turns from people that's for sure :P Above is the view we had during lunch in Kilcunda, right on the Ocean.

Some work I've been doing at school.  Already leaps and bounds ahead of what I was a couple of weeks ago when it comes to drawing people/characters.  Still in the process of getting our concept together for the Dog Treat assignment for one of our classes (this assignment will be all of our marks come term end).  So I've been drawing up my character (below) and how the package will look.  I had some drawn (in my last post) of what I was going to use, turns out the teacher wanted more of a moving, eye capturing character and this is what I've come up with which he seems pleased with.  So the truffles and the dog character will get scanned into Photoshop (the program we'll be using to put it all together) and we will edit it from there, colour it in, shade it etc.  The rest, type, colours, line work etc will be done on the computer.  Right now it's just putting it all together to give us and the 'client' an idea of how it will all fit together.  Good fun! :)

All my other classes are still based on how we use the programs (InDesign and Illustrator), using the different tools, how to draw things, using key short cuts etc which is also good fun! :)  My drawing class (where we're drawing the shoes) got cancelled on week 2 of classes as the teacher was sick and then this week, well the class fell on a public holiday so we didn't have classes.  So hopefully we'll get back into it come next week.  Got our new toy too, iMac, SO much better to use than my laptop when it comes to my school work :)  And it's so great that I can do the work in the comfort of our own home rather than having to stay back at school all the time using their computers.

Some more bikes from our ride the other weekend.

Junior on his belly, love those lips :P

The pub we had lunch at and most all of the bikes, not bad looken' hey?!

Well, time to sign off and finish the homework.  Hope life's treating you all splendid ;) xx
